William "Bill" J. Schwartz, 86, passed away on October 25, 2025 in Columbia, South Carolina. He was a loving father and grandfather, a successful businessman, and an animal lover.

William was born on January 25, 1939 to the late William D. and Frances Schwartz. Bill is survived by his children, Debbie and Joe; step-children, Lisa (Sean) and Mike (Sherry); grandchildren, Jessica, Katie, and Sarah; his former spouse Connie; and other loving family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his wife Patricia (d. 2022), and his wife Linda (d. 2002).

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 22, 2025 at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 W. Talcott Rd. Park Ridge, IL, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 1 p.m. with interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery in River Grove, IL.
