Born on Christmas Day 1926 in Chicago, IL to the late Ethel (nee Hines) Guse and William Frederick Guse.  died December 28, 2016 in Park Ridge, Illinois at the age of 90. He is survived by his devoted wife, Janet (nee Arndt) Guse; his daughter Diane Guse Dahlmann; his son William F. Guse, Jr. (Sherry) and grandson, Jonathon William Guse. Also surviving are his sister, Ellen Guse Partridge (Charles) and many nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and neighbors. Preceded in death by his brother, Charles Allen (the late Rita) Guse.
Known as Bill, he was a plumber by trade who could fix or build anything and everything. A life long outdoorsman, he loved fishing, hunting and being involved with the Boy Scouts of America. Before and after retirement from business and the University of Illinois-Medical Center, Bill was a world-traveler journeying far and wide with this favorite co-pilot, his dear wife Janet. Please join us as we send him off on his final destination.
