Walter was a proud WWII Air Force Veteran, Owner of Chasen Funeral Service since 1948, President of IFDA 1969, District Governor of NFDA 1973 to 1976, member of FDSA and honorary member of CCFDA. Walter proudly served on the Illinois State Board of Examiners and was a respected Instructor of Ethics at Worsham College of Mortuary Science from 1981 to 2008.
