Tom Winkelman, Jr., age 43, died unexpectedly April 6, 2012. Tom is survived by his mother, Marilyn, children, Taryn and Ricky; brothers, Tim (Mary Beth) and Terry (Jesika); nephew and best friend of Paul Winkelman. A nephew and uncle of many, he will be missed by all. Tom was preceded in death by his father, Thomas, Sr in 2009.
Tom served in the U.S. Air Force during Desert Storm.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 11 from 3 to 9 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 Talcott Road (at Cumberland), Park Ridge. Service is 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial with Military Honors will be at All Saints Cemetery, DesPlaines, Illinois.
