Tom Haban, age 63, of East Chicago, IN, formerly of Park Ridge, IL, died suddenly April 6, 2012. Preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Jr., and Sylvia, Tom is survived by his 9 year old son, Jhe'Vonte and his siblings, Andy, Cathie, Chris, Phyllis, Mary Helen, Mark and Beth as well as many nieces and nephews.
Tom , with brother Andy, was the rhythm section of the iconic Chicago rock band, Wilderness Road. later Tom went on to found Seagrape Recording Studios. Tom was an accomplished musician, notably a drummer, and the ryhthm of his beat will live on in our hearts forever. His vibrant spirit, witty intelligence and constant sense of humor made him a source of great joy for everyone.
The family will be accepting visitors at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 Talcott Road, Park Ridge on Sunday, April 15 from 3 to 8 p.m. A Memorial Mass will take place at St. Paul of the Cross Church, 320 S. Washington, Park Ridge on Monday April 16 at 11 a.m.
