Thomas M. Chapeck , Age 68, of Prospect Heights, passed away September 19, 2017.  He was the beloved husband of 33 years to Laura (Nee Wildeboer ); loving father of Daniel (Ja cqueline) and Sarah; cherished P apa of Madelyn; dear brother of Judith (Raymond) Katz; and a fond uncle and friend to many.

Tom was born to Richard C. and Mary ( Wasley ) Chapeck on April 7th, 1949 in Evanston, IL. Tom grew up in Park Ridge, where he graduated from high school in 1967. He studied business at University of Wisconsin Whitewater before beginning a successful career of many years in property management. On September 29, 1984 he married Laura Wildeboer in Elk Grove. Tom was an avid snowmobiler, Harley motorcycle enthusiast, and train expert. He was a storyteller with a quick wit , ready with a joke at any time. Tom enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be deeply missed by many.
