Thomas M. Campbell "Tom", 61, passed away on October 12, 2023.  He was born in Chicago, IL and moved to Rockford, IL in 2012; the son of Noreen Campbell and the late James F. Campbell; beloved brother of Eileen (Joe) Altenhoff, Dan (Anne), Bill, Sue (Rick) Kadowaki, Patrick (Bernadette), Tim (Sue).  Favorite uncle of 21 nieces and nephews, and 14 Great nieces and nephews. Tom graduated from Taft High School in Chicago in 1981.  Long time employee of Burlington Coat Factory in Chicago.  Most recent employment at Dollar Tree in Rockford, IL.

Tom loved spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews.  He made friends wherever he went.  He appreciated the many supportive friends he met through the Rosecrance Support Group and the Rockford Rescue Mission. He will be missed.

Visitation Sunday, October 15, 2023 from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 W. Talcott Rd., Park Ridge, IL. Visitation Monday, October 16, 2023 at St. Monica Catholic Church 5136 N. Nottingham Ave., Chicago, IL from 10 a.m. until time of Mass. Mass of Christian burial to begin at 11 a.m. Interment at Maryhill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be written to The Rockford Rescue Mission or The Crusader Clinic in Rockford.
