Susan M. Potthast from Park Ridge, formerly of Palatine, IL. and Bristol, WI. passed away peacefully and surrounded by family at home on Monday, April 10 at the age of 73. Devoted daughter of the late Mary Ellen and Vernon Weinholtz of Bristol, Wi. Beloved wife of Joseph B. Potthast, Cherished mother of Carolyn M. (Paul) Blome, Joseph C. Potthast, Catherine M. (Matt) Wells and James M. (Nicole) Potthast. Loving grandmother of Marie, George, Anthony, Dorothy, Helen, Carl, Quinn, Benjamin, Aisha, Julia and Elijah. Adored niece of Leona(Ted) Schmidt, Loving sister of Joyce Weinholtz, Bob(Wendy) Weinholtz, Judy Paluszka, Laurie(Bud) Fisher, Tony(Hanni) Potthast, and Gert Just. Godmother of Sandy Paluszka, and cherished by many nieces, nephews, and countless other family and friends. Susan joins her son Jonathon, parents, brothers William and Thomas Weinholtz, parents in law Carl and Augusta Potthast and brothers in law Daniel Paluszka and  Edward Just and many other beloved family members and friends in the arms of our Lord, Jesus Christ. While Susan accomplished many great things in her lifetime under immense adversity, her main Joy was her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.
