Obituary

Stanley Prezette of Park Ridge, IL left this world on Monday, November 26. He was a proud WWII veteran and fought in the famous Battle of the Bulge. After his Army tenure, he attended the Illinois College of Optometry and was licensed as an optometrist. Although not practicing as an optometrist, he used his skills as a Defense Contract Administrator for the Federal Government for 38 years, retiring in 1982. He was known to neighbors and friends as ""the man who gave away millions"" since he loved to gift everyone with bogus million dollar bills. He is survived by his wife Martha, nee Bitout, and best friend Tommy at home. Also survived by his brother Walter (Mary), fond nieces Carol and Jacqueline, also nephew Kenneth (Roberta) Bitout and niece Cheryl (Jerry) Antolak; great nieces and nephews include Brianna and Danielle Bitout and Brandon and Bryan Zaremba, a sister Tess Swienton preceded him in death.

Visitation Thursday 4 pm to 8 pm at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 Talcott Road, Park Ridge.
Service Friday 11:30 a.m. at the funeral Home. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery.
