Sofia Chucki Psaltis, nee Chaltas. December 16, 1933 - May 21, 2020 of Chicago, IL.
Beloved wife of the late Louis Psaltis, loving mother to Mark Psaltis (Angie), Claudia
Lubin (Larry), Susan Bennett (Brandon). Devoted grandmother to Michael (Lindsay) and
Jaclyn Psaltis, Lauren Lubin April (Kevin), Philip and Kevin Lubin, Ryan and Abbie
Bennett. Proud great grandmother to Lucas, Alexander and Chloe Psaltis. Beloved
aunt and sister of Barbara Koukios and Bette Booras Lederle and to her many nieces
and nephews. Lifelong resident of the Chicago area, Chucki was loved by everyone
who knew her for her vivacious personality and humor. Her great joy was making
others laugh. Chucki had the gift of compassion and became a mother figure to many
throughout her life. She was loved by her family and friends and will continue to inspire
us through blessed memories- may her memory be eternal.
Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, funeral services will be held for immediate family. A
Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be
made to the My Heart is Your Heart fundraiser for the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation.
