Sally A. Dema, 80, passed away on December 13, 2023 in her home on the Fox River. Beloved wife of J. Richard Dema for over fifty years. Cherished mother of Brian Richard and the late Carey Beth, she opened her home to many. Sally was a teacher and led an adventurous life of travel, driving an MG B around Europe and traveling to South America in the 1960's. A voracious reader and student of nature, she loved chewing gum sci-fi books and summers at the lake. She was clever, fun, fearless and a devoted wife and mother. Visitation will be held on December 18th from 4-9pm at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 Talcott Rd, Park Ridge IL. Funeral service will be held at 11am the following day at Nelson Funeral Home.
