Rosa Bacher, age 83, of Park Ridge, passed away January 14. She was an optometrist who was very involved in her community as well as the promotion of women in the field of optometry. She is the beloved wife of the late Joseph; dear mother of Rosanna (Bud) Voss, Mary (Tom) Cardwell, Joseph (Teri), Lisa (Tom) Thompsen and Ellen Bacher; loving grandmother of 11; proud great grandmother of 2; fond sister of Franz (Peg) Wieshuber and Josephine (Bill) Engelmann and of the late Anton (Ingeborg) Wieshuber and Siegfried. Visitation Monday 2 pm until Funeral Mass 3 pm at Adolorata Villa, 555 Old McHenry Road, Wheeling, IL 60090. Interment Town of Maine Cemetery.
