Robert M. Paterson, 95, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 28, 2025. He was born on December 3, 1929 in Chicago. Robert grew up in Chicago and graduated from Roosevelt High School, he then attended and graduated from Northwestern University. On August 29, 1953 Robert "Bob" married Yvonne.

His faith was very much the center of his life. Yvonne and Bob were active members of Albany Park Baptist Church where Bob taught Sunday School and served as a Deacon. In 1984 Bob and Yvonne moved to Park Ridge where they became active at South Park Church.

Bob served in the Airforce, enjoyed softball in his younger years and loved going to garage sales as recently as this year. Most of all, he was a prayer warrior for all of us.

He is survived by his two daughters Marilyn (Michael) Poierier of Park Ridge and Lorraine (Timothy) Burnier of Sleepy Hollow; four grandchildren Lauren (Zachary) Whitfield, Heather (Bryan) Dovichi, Nicole (Darrick) Kingston, and Timothy R. (Rachel) Burnier; and ten great-grandchildren Hudson, Elsie, Jude, Eliot, Keaton, Colin, Cayson, Anezka, Ronin and Brynn.

Funeral Services will be private. Memorial donations may be directed to The Moody Bible Institute of Chicago in Bob's memory.
