Robert Nickels, 87 of Park Ridge, at rest March 12, 2013.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Louise; children, Leslie Phillippi and Scott; grandchildren, Daniel Phillippi, Amber Olmo, Kelli McKittrick, Gregg Nickels and Jamie Nickels; great-grandchildren, Trevor and Aly Olmo and Emma and Jack Phillippi.
Mr. Nickels served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Private Entombment is at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Arlington Heights.
