Richard "Dick" Franks, 84, of Park Ridge; beloved husband of Irene for 58 years; loving father of Steven (Elizabeth) and Kristen (Rob) Ferrigan; cherished grandfather of Deanna, Kyle, Savannah and Eric. Dick was a United States Staff Sergeant in the Army during the Korean War, a long-time member, Elder and Treasurer of Park Ridge Presbyterian Church, a professor at Elmhurst College and a member of the Elks Lodge and CPA Society.
