IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Randall S.
Hoffer
July 30, 1954 – December 19, 2023
Randall "Randy" S. Hoffer, 69, of Park Ridge, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Tuesday, December 19. Loving husband of Rita for 46 years; proud father to James (Lindsay) and Peter; caring brother to Heidi (Dan) Berthiaume; affectionate uncle to Jason (Rachael), Eric (Ashley), Ryan (Natasha), and Anna.
Randy and Rita met during church confirmation and were pals for 8 years; towards the end of the friendship, they realized they were meant for each other.
He loved to break speed records; anything from fast cars to water and snow skiing.
He saw every problem, big or small, as a challenge, and would continuously analyze them to determine the best solution.
Randy would rather be outdoors. He liked fishing, canoeing (even portaging), and hiking the national parks. He and Rita would often travel for weeks at a time to one of their favorite parks, including Glacier, Yosemite and Rocky Mountain.
