Penny M. Newberg, 79, nee Anderson, of Chicago, peacefully passed away at home on August 5. 2012. She was the daughter of the late David and Freda Anderson . Penny was born on May 20, 1933 in Chicago. Beloved wife for 40 years of the late Gust K. Newberg (founder of the Gust K. Newberg Construction Co.); fond sister of David (Marilyn) Anderson; caring aunt to David Anderson, Jr., Bruce Anderson and Beth (Kevin) Smith. She enjoyed her travels with her husband, golf, gardening, early morning walks and swimming at their winter home in Miami and summer home in Iron Mountain, MI. She had many business and social friends.

Memorial service will be held at Nelson Funeral Home, 5149 N. Ashland Ave. (at Foster) Chicago 60640 at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 25, 2012. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, 251 E. Huron St. Chicago, IL 60611.
