Panagiota "Paula" Kalogeropoulos, age 51, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2020. Devoted daughter of Ageliki "Koula", nee Filopoulos, and the late Louis K. Kalogeropoulos, and beloved sister of Constantine "Dino" and Vasilis "Billy" Kalogeropoulos. Dear niece of the late Vasilis (the late Georgia) Kalogeropoulos, and cousin to their children, Kostadinos, Christina and Dimitrios; the late Athanasia, nee Kalogeropoulos, (the late Yiannis) Sarantopoulos, and cousin to their children, Panagiota, Irini and Sophia; the late Yiannis (the late Katerina, nee Kolokotronis) Kalogeropoulos, and cousin to their children, Kostandinos, Panagiota, Eleni and Nikolaos; the late Nikoleta, nee Kalogeropoulos, (the late Antonios) Kolokotronis, and cousin to their children, Kostadinos, Georgios and Kyriazis; the late Ourania, nee Filopoulos, (the late Vasilis) Tzannis and cousin to their children, Hlias, Eleni and Spiros; the late Barbara P., nee Filopoulos, (the late Peter) Georgelos and cousin to their children, George, JoAnn, Paul and Spiros.

Paula lived her life simply, but with determination. After earning her Master Degree in Special Education from National-Louis University, Paula went on to become a special education teacher and was very proud of her chosen field. Just for fun, she spent her time cooking, gardening and watching (and playing) soccer with her beloved fur-baby, Oreo.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2020, from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., at Nelson Funeral Home located at 820 Talcott Road (at Cumberland), in Park Ridge, Illinois. Due to COVID-19 health guidelines, we are limited to 50 guests at a time. We respectfully ask that you quickly exit the funeral home, after paying your respects to the family, so that all visitors have an opportunity to enter.
