Oscar Garber, 85 of Park Ridge, U.S. Army Veteran who served during WW II, passed away Oct. 19, 2012. Beloved husband of the late Margaret nee Murphy; dear father of Tim (Marilyn) Connolly, Scott (Sherri) and Greg (Lisa); loving grandfather of Brian, Kevin, Brian, Joseph, Anthony and Gretchen; great-grandfather of Claire; fond brother of Robert, Eleanor Green and the late William and Daniel.
Visitation Tuesday 4 to 9 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 Talcott Road (at Cumberland), Park Ridge. Masonic Service 7:30 p.m. under the auspices of Loyal Lodge # 1007, A.F & A.M. Service of Remembrance Wednesday 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Entombment Ridgewood Memorial Park.
