Olivia Marie Passarella (née Rodogno), age 92, of Park Ridge, passed away peacefully, now reunited in eternal rest with her beloved husband, Rocco Passarella.

A devoted mother, Olivia is survived by her loving children, Joe (Lynn) Passarella and Teri (Scott) Hoffman; her cherished grandchildren, Christopher (Amy) Passarella, Cassie (Corey) McCreary, Tasia Hoffman, and Taris Hoffman; and her adored great-grandchildren, Sophia, Tessa, and Finn. She was also a treasured aunt and cousin to many, always holding family close to her heart.

Born to Rocco and Philomena Rodogno and preceded in death by them as well as her dear brother, Sam Rodogno, Olivia lived a life centered on love, loyalty, and generosity. Her passion for cooking and baking was more than a hobby—it was her way of caring for others. For many years, Olivia and Rocco owned and operated Frankie's in Des Plaines, where their legendary beef sandwiches and unforgettable meatballs earned a devoted following.

After closing the restaurant, Olivia and Rocco embraced a new chapter—joining Starbucks long before it became the household name it is today. Together, they worked the early morning shifts, delighting in the rhythm of quiet afternoons shared over coffee and conversation.

Olivia's life was defined by simple joys: the laughter of family gathered around the table, the aroma of something delicious in the oven, and the comfort of a strong cup of coffee at sunrise. Her warmth, work ethic, and unwavering devotion to those she loved leave behind a lasting legacy.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were lucky enough to know her.
