Nota Skoubis (nee Katsiris), age 83, fell asleep in the Lord July 14, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Nicholas Skoubis for 44 years. Loving mother of John (Ephie) and the late Michael N. Skoubis. Devoted daughter of the late Mihalis and Marigo Katsiris. Proud grandmother of Nicholas (Haley) and Christa Skoubis. Dear sister of Spiros (Eleni) Katsiris, George (the late Fotini) Katsiris and the late Kostandina (the late John) Mantis. Daughter-in-law of the late John and Lamprini Skoubis. Sister-in-law of Irini (the late Evangelos) the late Gregory (the late Katherine) Skoubis, Kosta (Maria) Skoubis, Maria (the late Gust) Sellas and Dimosthenis (Julia) Skoubis. Fond aunt and cousin of many.
Visitation Wednesday, July 19 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Nelson Funeral Home 820 West Talcott Road, Park Ridge, IL 60068. Funeral Service Thursday, July 20, 12:00 PM at Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 2727 West Winona Street, Chicago, IL 60625. Interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery, River Grove, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church would be appreciated.
