Norma A. Braun of Niles, Illinois passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at Resurrection Nursing and Rehabilitation Center under the loving care of her family. She was born January 16, 1922 in Chicago, Illinois; she is survived by her children Art (Galyn) Sweeney, John (Nancy) Braun; one grandchild Kelly Sweeney. She is preceded in death by her husband Roland; parents Bruno and Constance (Benedetti) Raffaelli; daughter Kathy (Rudi) Slawitschka. Norma was a devoted Christian, enjoyed cooking, especially Italian food, and dancing. She enjoyed spending time with her family and she was always full of life. Norma was a fond member of The Debonair Club which began in early 1930's with her close friends; among the surviving members are Clara, Dottie and Helen. A funeral visitation to honor the life of Mrs. Norma Braun will be held at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 N. Talcott Road, Park Ridge on Sunday, October 26th beginning at 4 P.M. until 9 P.M.
