Noreen P. Campbell

Noreen P. Campbell (née Gibbons), 89, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025. Noreen was the loving wife of  the late James Campbell for over 60 years.  Noreen was the amazing mother of seven children, Eileen (Joseph) Altenhoff, Dan (Anne), Bill, Tom (deceased), Sue (Rick) Kadowaki, Patrick (Bernadette), and Tim (Sue).

She was a proud and loving grandmother who always made time for her 21 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.  Sister of Michael (Judy) Gibbons, Tom (Mary) Gibbons, the late MaryKay Murphy.  Sister-in-Law to the late Bill (the late Donna) Campbell, the late Patricia (the late Jerry) Snyder, Mary Ellyn (the late Tom) Donnell, Sister Margaret Campbell SNDdeN.

After graduating from Mundelein College with a degree in Mathematics, Noreen taught school until the birth of her children. In later years Noreen was a substitute teacher for many years at the CPS Disney Magnet School.

Jim and Noreen were longtime active members of St. Monica Parish. They were Lectors, Eucharistic Ministers and brought Communion to the sick. They enjoyed traveling, vacationing with their family and hosting parties.
