Nancy B. Stahlberg, age 90, of Park Ridge, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 20, 2025. She now joins her beloved husband, Arthur, in eternal rest.

Nancy was a devoted mother to her daughters, Heidi Simnick and Michelle (Sean) Russell, and a proud and loving grandmother to Carmen Stahlberg, Richard Simnick, Madeline and Molly Russell. She found her greatest joy in her family and especially cherished her role as "Grandma." Her love continued to grow with the addition of her great-grandchildren—Isabella, Roxanne, Luciana, and Arthur—each of whom brought her endless happiness and laughter.

She is also survived by her dear sister, Betty Jean (Bill) LaPietra, and her beloved niece and nephew, Gina and Jeffery. Nancy was preceded in death by her daughter, Renee, and her parents, John and Ella.

Nancy's warmth and gentle spirit touched everyone she met. She loved to garden, especially tending to her cherished violets, and could often be found calling family just to catch up and share stories. Before his passing, Arthur and Nancy could be found attending local Corvette Club gatherings or watching the boats go by at the Diversey Harbor- which was one her most fond places that she spoke of even into her later years. Her greatest joy came from simply being present in the lives of those she loved, always ready to listen, laugh, and offer kind words.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Service at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke's Lutheran Church of Park Ridge, 205 N. Prospect Ave., Park Ridge, IL 60068. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Arlington Heights.
