Nancy Gill, 88 years of age, Des Plaines IL, received her Crown of Glory on February 23, 2024. Beloved mother of Kathy (John), Debbie (Dan), Cindy (Dan), and David (Alexandra). Grandmother to Paul, Christina, Evan, Ryan, Sean, Nicole, Brandon, Cameron and Nathan. Great-Grandmother of Alexa, Elliotte, Sophia, Talia, Annelise, Tessa, and Clay. She will be fondly remembered as the beloved Matriarch of her family.

She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her. She also had many friends and was a well-loved member of her church and neighborhood, where she lived for 65 years. Nancy was a wonderfully creative person, who used her talents not only giving of her time at church, but making something special for every family celebration. One of the things she looked forward to most was going to the casino and playing the penny slots. She was thrilled when she hit the jackpot and won $2.00! Her legacy will forever be imprinted on the hearts and minds of those whose lives she touched.

Inviting family and friends to celebrate Nancy's life on Friday, March 22, 2024 from 4:00pm-8:00pm at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 W. Talcott Road, Park Ridge. Funeral Mass on Saturday, March 23, 2024 10:00am at Our Lady of Hope Church, 9711 W. Devon Ave., Rosemont, followed by Entombment at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery and Mausoleum, 1185 W. Algonquin Road, Palatine. Luncheon to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Nancy's name may be made to Cal's Angels (a local pediatric cancer organization).
