Mildred Rychlewski, 93, of Chicago, passed away peacefully with her daughter at her side on March 19, 2012. She was born in Alpha, MI and spent her school years in Stambaugh, MI where she graduated from Stambaugh High School. After she graduated, she came to Chicago. She eventually worked for Sears, Roebuck & Co. for 31 years, ending her career as Executive Secretary to the Treasurer of Sears. She lived in Bridgeview, IL for many years before moving to Resurrection Retirement Community, where she made many good friends. Surviving are her daughter, Karen, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by John, her husband of 51 years; a sister, Marie Pedo; two brothers, Paul and Irvin Andersen. Visitation Thursday 2 to 8 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 Talcott Road, Park Ridge, IL. Family and friends will meet Friday morning at St. Blasé Catholic Church, 6101 S. 75th Ave, Summit, IL for Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
