Michael R. Eaker, age 79, beloved husband of the late Dorothea “Dottie” Eaker; devoted and loving father of Michele Eaker, Michael (Lori) Eaker, and Debbie Eaker. Cherished Papa of Anthony, Kyle, Jenna (Kaleb), Deanna, Matthew, Maggie, Andrew, and Jillian; proud great-grandfather of Aubrey and Harper; dear brother of Carol Cox; fond uncle and cousin to many.

Michael was a dedicated father whose children were his everything. His love for his family was at the center of his life, and he took great pride in the lives of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Visitation, Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 Talcott Road, Park Ridge, from 9 a.m. until the funeral service begins at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery, River Grove, IL.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in Michael’s name to Lurie Children’s Hospital would be appreciated.
