Mary Ann Madewell

Mary Ann Madewell, 89, loving wife of the late James; devoted mother of Mary Beth (Dr. Peter) Clarke, James J. (Mary) Madewell, the late John E. Madewell, Ann Marie Schafer, and Dr. Larry J. (Lanah) Madewell; cherished grandmother of Elizabeth, Michael (Genesis), John (Sarah), Cecilia, Andrew, Catherine, Samantha, Olivia (Micah), Reuben, Isabel, Evelyn, and Clara; great-grandmother of Henry, Maeve, Charles, James, and expected baby boy; sister of the late Joseph A. Siegel, and aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Saturday, March 14, 2026 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 W. Talcott Ave., Park Ridge, IL. Prayers to begin at 10 a.m. with procession to follow to Mary, Seat of Wisdom for Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m.

Interment will be private.
