Marjory Ann Ruediger, 93, of Des Plaines, IL, passed away on Sept. 9, 2017 in Park Ridge, IL; beloved wife of the late Douglas; loving mother of Jill (the late Michael) Tarleton and Robin (Linda) Ruediger; dear grandmother of Jason and Britta Ruediger, Aaron Tarleton and Sara (Colin) Taylor; cherished daughter of the late Carl and Anna Carlson; dear sister of the late Doris (Robert) Carlson, Dorothy (Loren) Hover, Raymond (Ruth) Carlson, Melva (Clifford) Martin, Lucille (Carl) Dahlstedt and Lenore Carlson. Marjory was born in Loomis, NE to Carl and Anna Carlson on August 11, 1924. She attended Loomis School in the class of 1941. Marjory continued her education at Trinity College in Deerfield, IL. She worked as a secretary, file clerk and typist for a variety of companies over the years, one being Hooker Paint Company. This is where she met Douglas Ruediger. Marjory and Douglas married on November 11, 1950 in Chicago. She was a member of the First Evangelical Free Church in Chicago for a number of years. In later years, she attended South Park Bible Church in Park Ridge. Marjory served The Church in many ways.
Visitation, Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017 from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 11 a.m. at Nelson Funeral Home 820 Talcott, Park Ridge. Interment Memory Gardens, Arlington Heights, IL.
