Marion's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Marta Elisa Garcia and Victor Vasquez who took such wonderful care of Marion.
Marion was a master seamstress and home economist, earning a nutrition degree from Mundelein College in Chicago.  She was a teacher of home economics and high school work programs.  She was an avid swimmer, as an adult swimming nearly every day for decades.  She loved music, particularly piano music.  Marion's heritage was Swedish and she completed some of her high school education in that country.  She never lost her love of Sweden and returned often to visit family and friends.  Married to Roy for 57 years, they traveled to many places and spent time with family.  May they rest in peace together.
Memorial visitation Monday, August 29, 10 a.m. until time of service at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 W. Talcott Rd., Park Ridge. Funeral service to begin at 11:30 a.m. with interment to follow at Memorial Park.
