Margaret E. Tsohas, 89, wife of the late Demetre; mother of Christine Tsohas; daughter, and aunt of loving nieces and nephews.

Before embracing the role of a dedicated homemaker, Margaret worked for Pan AM Airlines. It was at O'Hare airport where she crossed paths with her future husband, Demetre. Margaret was an accomplished organist, finding joy in playing the organ and sharing her musical talents with those around her. She was also an avid reader with a penchant for historical and philosophical literature. She would also spend free time volunteering at Resurrection Hospital. Margaret loved to travel. Her adventures took her to the enchanting landscapes of Greece, the historical wonders of Lebanon, the vibrant culture of Cuba, and the beautiful landscapes of Mexico. Many who knew her would imagine her standing on the shores watching a beautiful and peaceful sunset over the Mediterranean Sea. She will be greatly missed by many.

Visitation will be on Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 Talcott Rd., Park Ridge, IL. Chapel service will begin at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with interment to follow at Norwood Park Home Cemetery.
