Lorraine Pauline Kaye, passed away on July 3, 2020 at the wonderful age of 98 years young. Lorraine was born and lived in Chicago until moving to Mesa, AZ in 1998. She was very happily married to LeRoy (Konkowski) Kaye in 1944 for 65 years until his death in 2010. She was a loving mother to her children Sharon (Michael) Foley, Duane (Jeanette) Kaye, and Gayle (Bruce) Bauch; beloved grandmother to Brian (Melissa), Erin (Lyle), and Jackee (Shane) and three great-grandchildren Declan, Mackenzie, and Lochlan.

Lorraine grew up during the depression, worked for the Armed Services during World War II and the Cenacle Convent in Chicago. She was a member of St. Clements Church in Chicago and All Saints Catholic Church in Mesa. She loved dancing, playing cards and dice, and traveled throughout the U.S. and Europe with friends and family. She was always grateful to the numerous friends and family who enriched her life.

We will always remember Mom and Dad holding hands wherever they went. We will miss you, but are happy you will be reunited with Dad in heaven.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 7, 2020 from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Nelson Funeral Home 820 W. Talcott Ave., Park Ridge, IL 60068, Funeral Prayers will begin at 11 a.m. to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Maryhill Cemetery.

Nelson Funeral Home is following the Illinois Governor's Mandate of the 50-person maximum rule currently set in place, masks are required to enter the building.
