Beloved husband of Geraldine; dear father of Bruce (Nancy), Robin (Joe) DeCarlo and Rohn (Annette); loving grandfather of Christopher, Jeffrey, Ryan and Rory; great-grandfather of Christopher; brother of Bernadette Lechniak and the late Roy.
Visitation Wednesday 4 to 9 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 Talcott Road (at Cumberland), Park Ridge.
Funeral Thursday 9 a.m. to St. Paul of the Cross Church. Mass 10 a.m. Entombment All Saints Cemetery Mausoleum with military honors.
