Kenneth J. Rooney "Ken", 83, longtime resident of Elmwood Park, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on January 27, 2025. He was the loving husband to Joan for over 52 years; caring dad to William "Bill" (Debbie) and Paul (Julie); proud papa to Marin, Ella, and Declan; fond cousin and friend to many. Ken was proudly involved with the Medinah Shriners. After retiring from 39 enjoyable years with ComEd Ken fully embraced the role of Papa. Visitation, Saturday, 10:00 to 12:00 p.m., immediately followed by the Funeral Service, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 205 N. Prospect Ave. Park Ridge, IL 60068.
