Kathleen D. Slawitschka, 62, died May 5, 2012, in Urbana. Visitation from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday, May 10, 2012, at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 Talcott Rd., Park Ridge followed by a closing prayer service at 8 p.m. She is survived by her husband, Rudy Slawitschka; her mother, Norma Braun of Niles; two brothers, Art (Galyn) Sweeney of Las Vegas, John (Nancy) Braun of Niles; a stepson, Robert Slawitschka of Spring Grove; two step-grandsons, Cole and Will; and a niece, Kelly Sweeney.
