Karen Louise Neswold (nee Reinhart) 75, of Park Ridge, Illinois, passed away surrounded by her family on October 16, 2018. Beloved daughter of Gladys and Martin T. Reinhart, loving sister of the late Martin W. Reinhart, cherished wife of Dick Neswold, much loved mother of Richard (Sherry) Neswold, Susan (Thomas) McCosky, David (Dorothy) Neswold, and James (Jennifer) Neswold, and adored grandmother of Laura, Emily, Thomas, Daniel, Katelyn, Martin, Sofia, and Matthew. A talented artist, Karen filled our lives with beauty. Her art inspired her grandkids to explore their own talents. She loved painting, family vacations and keeping the family's Norwegian traditions alive. Karen was wise and kind, and always had a smile. Our lives were greatly enriched by her sense of humor, loving nature, and nurturing spirit. We will forever miss the heart of our family. Visitation Friday, October 19th from 4:00 - 9:00 p.m.; funeral service Saturday, October 20th at 11:00 a.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 Talcott Road, Park Ridge.
