John Theodore Thurman Jr. of Glenview, Illinois, WWII Army Veteran, age 92, passed away on December 17, 2014 under the loving care of his family. He is survived by his wife Gertrude Anna Thurman(Andriessen); two children Kendell (Ken) Christensen and John Thurman; four grandchildren Kenny Jack, Katy Maureen, Kelly Ann and Kevin Seamus. He was preceded passing by his parents John Theodore Thurman Sr. and Hulda Josephine Thurman (Lindblad). John was a long time member of Freemason of Illinois, Leyden Laurel Lodge No.1057. Funeral visitation to honor the life of Mr. John Threodore Thurman will be held at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 Talcott Road, Park Ridge on Friday, December 19, 2014 from 4 to 9 P.M. and Funeral Service will be on Saturday December 20, 2014 at 10 A.M.
