Joanne Lueder, 94, of Park Ridge, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, May 27, 2023.  Loving mother of Hal (Shirley), the late Kathryn (Garrett), Ann (Tom); proud grandma to Adam (Erica), Karen (Mason), Emily, Gail, Matthew; adoring great grandma to Nicholas, Mackenzie, Zane, and Hannah.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold, of 45 years.

Joanne loved tending to her gardens, and when the weather wouldn't allow for that she found herself becoming a very accomplished watercolor painter and an avid reader. She was proud of the position she held at Lutheran General Hospital as an admissions clerk for 31 years. Joanne loved spending time with her grandkids, and even when she couldn't be with them in person she would do her best to keep in touch via email and phone conversations.

Visitation, Tuesday, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Home 820 Talcott, Park Ridge, IL 60068.  Funeral Service, Wednesday, 10:30 a.m., at First United Methodist Church 1903 E. Euclid Ave. Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Interment private.
