Pera, Joan E.

Beloved wife of the late John G. Pera, passed into eternal life on July 3 ^rd , 2020.

A resident of Des Plaines since 1988; formerly of Chicago where she had taught school for nine years in the Lutheran system and 13 years in the public system.

Mrs. Pera, a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church since 1994, grew up in Chicago and Colorado.

She was a Sunday school teacher for 14 years, a volunteer at Holy Family Hospital for 13 years, and on the Auxiliary board of The Lutheran Home for 13 years.

She leaves three loving children: Jennifer (Neil) Wagner, James (Christine) Pera and Julanne (Tony) Saenz, and five precious grandchildren: Lauren Saenz, Mark and Kevin Pera and Alex and Reena Wagner.

Interment private.
