Jo Ann Thunder, age 70. Born August 7,1955. Passed away July 15,2026.

 Loving daughter of the late Gloria Skerbinek and Peter Nechipor. She lived in Chicago her whole life.

 Loving mother of Walker “Petie” Thunder. Cherished sister of Valerie (the late Rex) Smith, Karen (Adolph) Rivas, Peter (Sandra) Nechipor, Joyce (the late William) Chaparro. Donna (Tom) Kopshinsky, Debra (the late Bruno) Cornelius, Paul (Kimmy).Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. 

Friends of Petie that called her “Mom”, Jerry, Patrick, Eddie, Sindo, Travis and Jimmy.

She had a voice of an angel and was the lead singer in a band for several years.  

Jo Ann was a very beautiful woman and she will never be forgotten.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
