James J. Taylor, 82, passed away July 28, 2017.  Beloved husband of Deanna M., nee Gnatek; loving father of Jamie (Dale) Shimanek, Carrie Taylor and Dan (Doris) Taylor; cherished grandfather of Sabrina and Damien Taylor and Lou Santiago.  Will be greatly missed by his canine companions, Zoe and Da Boys.  Retired as Captain after 40 years of service in the Chicago Fire Department.  A memorial visitation will be held Wed., Aug. 2 ^nd , 4 – 9 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 Talcott Rd., Park Ridge.  Friends and family will meet at Immaculate Conception Church, 7211 W.
