With regret in our hearts, we announce that James "Jim" G. Parisi entered eternal rest on March 30th, 2023.

Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Alice, of 50 years. He was the beloved father of Nancy (Roy) Bellazzini and Beth (Dan) Allen; proud Grandfather of Marissa, Nicole, Luke, and Nick; dear Brother of Toni (the late Frank) Pantelleria, and Frieda (the late Frank) Cappola. Fond Uncle and Friend to many.

Jim had a strong love of country. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He was a man of strong faith who was active in the church. Jim was a hard worker, he worked two jobs to provide for his family. Outside of his family, he loved the cubbies, to bake, to garden, and our scruffy  dog, Snoopy.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 1, 9:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 W. Talcott Rd., Park Ridge. 11:00 A.M. mass at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that you consider a donation in Jim's honor to Tunnel to Towers Foundation , a non for profit Since 9/11, has been helping America's heroes by providing mortgage-free homes to Gold Star and fallen first responder families with young children and by building specially-adapted smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders. They are also committed to eradicating veteran homelessness and helping America to Never Forget September 11, 2001.
