Irene Veikos nee Kaldis, 74, fell asleep in our Lord on September 14, 2021. Beloved wife of Thomas Veikos. Loving mother of Foti (Martha, daughter Kay) Veikos, Patricia Veikos, Jim (Ellie) Veikos, and the late John Veikos. Devoted daughter of the late John and Helen Kaldis. Cherished sister of Georgia (the late George) Alexakos, Spiro (Vasiliki) Kaldis, Vasilios (Patricia) Kaldis, Mary (Nick) Giannakakis, Pete Kaldis, and Andriana (Xristos) Tolis. Fond aunt to nineteen nieces and nephews, great-aunt, cousin, godmother, and friend to so many who will miss her greatly.

Friends and family will meet Monday 4PM-9PM for visitation at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 Talcott Road, Park Ridge. Funeral service Tuesday 10AM at St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church, 7373 N. Caldwell Avenue, Niles, with interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery, River Grove. In lieu of flowers, donations to Irene's family for charitable donations of their choice would be appreciated.
