Irene Helen Kaminski (née Zawistowski) passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion. She was the devoted wife of the late John Stanley Kaminski, with whom she shared a lifetime of partnership and enduring commitment.

Irene was the cherished mother of Barbara Jean Monaco (née Kaminski) and the late Robert John Kaminski (Kathleen Slowik); caring sister of Genevieve (the late John) Lundie. She was a devoted daughter to her late parents, Helen (née Niemira) and Stanley Zawistowski, whose values she carried throughout her life.

She is preceded in death also by her loving siblings and siblings-in-law, Joann (Edward) Kuk, Estelle (John) Hari, Casey (Gertrude) Zawistowski, Michael (Ruth) Zawistowski, and Edward Zawistowski.

Irene will be remembered fondly as a dear aunt to many nieces and nephews, all of whom were touched by her warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.

Visitation, Saturday, December 6, 9:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Prayers, 10:00 a.m., Nelson Funeral Home, 820 Talcott Rd. Park Ridge, Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30 a.m., Mary, Seat of Wisdom Church, 920 Granville Ave. Park Ridge, interment to follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery, Niles.
