Gordon Carlson, 90 of Chicago, passed away May 14, 2012. He is the beloved husband of the late Jane Eyre; dear father of Rusty (Lynette) and Donna (Peter) Pronk; loving grandfather of 9; great-grandfather of 16; fond brother of the late Wally. He served in the U.S. Navy during WW II as a signalman of Ship LCI #455; graduate of Lane Tech.

Visitation Friday 3 to 9 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 Talcott Road, Park Ridge. Funeral service Saturday 10 a.m. Interment private cremation.
