Gloria M. Tobin, 88 passed away on Sept 18, 2014. Gloria is the loving and perfect mother to Katherine Ann, and wife of the late William (Jack) Tobin; dear daughter of Charles and Eleanore Jackson and sister of the late Nancy Akins (Andersen), her polar opposite; Auntie Glor to Cindy Sullivan, Vanessa Andersen, Roberta, Melinda Putnam, Barb Affinito, Becky Swambar, Brian Andersen. She loved her family very much. Gloria was preceded in death by Franca and Mickey Ehrhardt, Friends which were family. Holidays, Vacations, Dinners and Weekends were spent together, along with Wendy, who was her "second daughter", and very special to her. Gloria loved doing her chores and making things look neat, clean and perfect. She loved music and enjoyed going to concerts and live shows, especially Elvis shows. She also loved her ice cream. Gloria was a devoted, compassionate and caring mother, daughter, aunt and friend to those she loved. She put others needs above her own and loved unconditionally. "Duty makes us do things well, but love makes us do them beautifully." Kathy would like to thank everyone who has helped her while Mom went through her journey in the last few years. It has been difficult, but the support was appreciated by Gloria and Kathy. She deserved the best. Visitation will be Monday, Sept. 22 from 4 p.m to 9 p.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 W.
