Gertrude Anna Thurman, nee Andriessen, of Arlington Heights, formerly of Glenview, Illinois, passed away February 24, 2020, age 96; beloved wife of the late John Theodore Thurman Jr.; cherished mother of Kendell (Ken) Christensen and John Thurman (Blair Marg); loving grandmother of Kenny Jack, Katy Maureen, Kelly Ann and Kevin Seamus; preceded in death by her parents, Pier and Gertrude, and siblings Frank (Penny), Garrit (Elaine), Alyce (Robert) Wheat and Sibley (Edna); dearest aunt of many.  Visitation to honor the life of Gertrude Anna will be on Thursday, February 27, 2020 from 9 a.m. until time of Funeral Service, 11 a.m., at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 Talcott Road, Park Ridge.  Interment to follow at Mt.
