Gerard Katsma, Jr. of Chicago, age 87, passed away on June 27, 2016. Beloved husband of Opal, loving father of Keith (Janette); cherished grandfather of Katarina; treasured uncle and great uncle of many. Friend to all he met. A memorial service will be held at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 3309 N. Seminary, Chicago, at 12:00 pm on July 9, 2016. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Resurrection Lutheran Church, Alzheimer's Association or Dementia Society of America.
