Ethel Virginia Johnson was born in Chicago on March 27, 1916 and died 102 years later on April 24, 2018.  Born of Swedish parents, Ethel spent her childhood in both Sweden and America. Ethel returned to US for a long and lucrative career as a dental hygienist in the heart of downtown Chicago followed by an exhilarating retirement spent travelling to the four corners of the globe.  Ethel has walked on the Great Wall of China, rode safari in Africa, cruised the Caribbean and viewed art at the Hermitage Museum in Russia which number just a few of her myriad journeys. She had one brother who preceded her in death and is survived by several cousins. She was a lifelong member active in the American Daughters of Sweden and VASA organizations.  There will be no services at her request.  Please sign her guestbook.
