Elien Levander , age 102, passed away in Chicago, under the loving care of her family on January 11, 2018. She is survived by her cousin Jan H. Hanson of Arlington Heights, IL., niece Carol Jones of Arlington, Texas and nephew Stephen Levander (Debbie) of Midland, Texas. Elien was blessed with four grand nieces; Lori Little, Anjanette Ostrom (Dallas), Tamara Walker (Barrett) and Lindsay Levander; three great-grand nieces; many loving extended family members. Elien was a Chicago Public School teacher and assistant principal. During her lifetime she enjoyed travelling. Elien lived her entire life in Chicago and was a dedicated Chicago sports fan.

Visitation Saturday, February 3 from 10 am until time of service 11 am at Nelson Funeral Home 820 Talcott Road, Park Ridge. Interment Rosehilll Cemetery, Chicago.
